Planning for a newborn with a toddler in tow

Planning for a newborn with a toddler can be seen as a stressful time, there are so many questions you wants answered. How am i going to cope with a newborn and a toddler? How am i going to adapt to spend equal time with them? Will my toddler become jealous of a new baby? If you are expecting a baby and  a toddler in tow then do not worry stop questioning yourself, sooner or later you will easily adjust and your newborn will soon adapt to your routine.

If you follow me or read my blog then you already know I'm expecting a little boy on March 25th and I'm mummy to Charlie now aged 2 if you plan on having a second baby so closely then you're more than likely to have most of their baby items.

I thought i would share a few of my favourite items we have bought for our newborn or plan to buy and grow with your newborn.

Your toddler may prefer to walk now but if they are still young and take naps during the day or you're going on long ventures and its more suitable for your toddler to be in a pushchair a double pushchair is something you are going to want to invest in  i love the look of the ABC - Zoom  its the perfect pushchair that grows with your newborn and toddler and has a neat compact fold, with many different designs there is something for everyone.

If you are not needing a double the Silver cross surf is a great option, its the perfect travel system available in several stylish colours!

The Tiny Love Rocker Napper is a great place for your little one to relax and play and perfect way for your new baby and toddler to interact, the rocker easily converts fro a seat to a comfortable napper and has soothing movements to rock your baby at all 3 reclining positions. There is also a interactive toy hanging.

There are so many Moses baskets on the market, the Mothercare Snug Moses basket is a great option, a stylish strong wicker basket to keep your little one snug, a unique shape and strong leather handles to make transportation easy!

A baby beanbag is definitely something worth investing in a safe comfortable way for your newborn to nap which see's your baby through to a toddler!

There are also many car seats on the market we have chose the silver cross simplicity which easily fits on the pram for ease of use, our stage 2 car seat will be the Maxi-Cosi Axissfix this is currently the car seat Charlie is in but as soon as our baby reaches the minimum age we will be purchasing one. It offers super ease of use. with 360 swivelling it makes life easier when placing your child into the car-seat, suitable from 4 months to 4 years, rearward and forward facing travel.

These are only some of my favourite picks, with a baby comes a lot of things! Id love to here any recommendations!
