A few days ago i was over on twitter and saw a tweet about Wicked uncle wanting bloggers to take part in a review program and asked for those bloggers interested to link there blog below their tweet, a lot of bloggers had already replied so i didn't think anything of it. The next morning a email from Wicked Uncle landed in my inbox, i was offered a £40 voucher to spend on their shop in return for my review.
For those of you who haven't heard of Wicked uncle they are an online toy which specialise in children s presents. They offer a wide range of toys for both girls and boys. Wicked uncle do not sell primarily to parents but to uncles, grandparents, god parents and aunts too! Wicked uncle is essentially a present shop and we all know gift shopping can be very difficult, but wicked uncle aim to make present shopping as easy as possible by deliberately dividing everything into age, gender and popularity categories. There is also a search option which allows you to search by area of interest or you can choose to view the full range. They have so much to offer!
Wicked uncle have ten sorts of gift wrap and options to send handwritten cards suitable for any occasion also included is a 'Thank you' postcard card with your address printed to one side for the recipient to to thank you for their brilliant gift, these can be added at the end of your order. Once you have placed your order you have guaranteed 48 hour delivery and the option to track your order.
When the voucher landed in my inbox i headed over to their website and couldn't believe how easy it was, i was able to easily navigate by age at the click of a button! It was such a fantastic range and they offered several toys which Charlie would have loved and been entertained for hours with them and they was all suitable and perfect for his age!
Although Charlie turned 2 in October i navigated the age 3 category because Charlie is at the age hes showing a real interest in learning and i wanted to get him an educational toy without being to obvious. I opted for the cash register after humming and haring whether to go for the tool set and the magnetic fishing game although Charlie would have adored these because his interested in both areas i didn't feel he would learn from these. I'm so impressed with the Calculator Cash Register which is priced at £34.95. I knew Charlie would just love this it definitely ticks all the boxes for Charlie and i. Educational and a lot of fun.Charlie has found a new love with money and i love how realistic the pretend money is.
It really encourages imaginative play as well as learning currency, the calculator is solar powered which is great, its just like a real cash register with noises and a plastic credit card! Although its aimed for children aged 3+ Charlie loves it, since it was delivered a few days ago it has been the only thing he has played with it keeps him entertained for hours. Withing the few days we've had it iv already seen a massive improvement, Charlie is recognising the different amounts of money and loves playing shops! Its all lots of fun as well as being educational.
Charlie loves playing with his new toy and has endless fun with it, it keeps him entertained and interested which is a huge bonus. I'm so impressed with Wicked Uncle i will definitely be purchasing with them again very soon and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
You can view the range and purchase your own brilliant toys here.
